In 1989, we opened our doors as a family business in Victoria. From the beginning we were committed to providing a local service that wasn’t available through larger strata management companies.
By filling this gap in the market we built trust with our clients and grew, welcoming our first franchisee in 1992.
Today, operating across Australia, we are owned by current and past franchisees. While we are a national business, our branches are locally owned and operated. Our clients benefit from our deep knowledge of their local area and our ability to deliver responsive and reliable strata management.
Our name, MBCM Strata Specialists, is deeply rooted in the history of our organisation. It’s a reminder of our humble beginnings over 35 years ago as a small, but ambitious, Melbourne-based family business.
We believe that every Strata scheme deserves to benefit from local management and services, which is why we launched Australian Strata Management (ASM) as the national arm of MBCM Strata Specialists. Having both ASM and MBCM allows us to provide our services and local knowledge to Strata communities across Australia.
We closely follow industry standards and regulations, a work with a high level of ethics and principles.
We believe in giving back to the communities in which we operate. We proudly work with local groups and charities to create a more vibrant and supportive environment for all.
To date, we have donated over $30,000 to The Smith Family and Launch Housing. We continue to make regular donations to these extremely worthwhile organisations and their initiatives.
In 2022 we participated in the Good Friday Appeal’s ‘Neil’s Cruise for the Kids’, which raised funds to help The Royal Children’s Hospital to acquire state-of-the-art neurophysiology equipment to replace its aging machines.
